Wojtek Potaszkin Dance Academy is built on these 3 core values — not only what drives Wojtek as a dance teacher but something he mentors every dance student to live through.
The Irish National DanceSport event calendar is a busy one, but the pinnacle of the dancing year is an event hosted by Wojtek Potaszkin Dance Academy – The DanceComp.
Past National and now an Internationally recognised event, it is being held at the end of November/early December each year and now in its 10th year is a spectacular competition which grows each edition.
The biggest DanceComp held so far was at the amazing venue of the National Basketball Arena as a base for one of the largest gatherings of competitors in Ireland alongside an International panel of top adjudicators from Italy, Slovenia, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Belgium, Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, UK, Holland, Northern Ireland and Greece — and also International competitors.
The DanceComp 2020 was a very special one, held LIVE on our YouTube channel. We welcomed and admired live online dancers and adjudicators from 31 dance clubs and 11 countries – Indonesia, Canada, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Greece, Ireland, UK, Ukraine, Portugal and Germany.
